Featured Interview in FEIPLASTIC 2013: Big Brands from Local and the World

This year in FEIPLASTIC, the organizer (REED) launch the all new image for FEIPLASTIC. The fair name also changed from BRASILPLAST to FEIPLASTIC. It is the new chapter for plastic and rubber industry in Brazil. On behalf of FEIPLASTIC, Mr. Paulo expresses that FEIPLASTIC will expand the target market from only Brazil to all South American. In each time of fair, FEIPLASTIC continues innovating the service and process for all the visitors. Mr. Paulo also shares with us the strategy to get into Brazil Market.

To Taiwanese companies the difficulties for entering Brazil, the first one is the language barrier. Most people still use Portuguese to do business rather than English. The strict tariff policy and culture differences are also the issues that have to be coped with. This time, we interview agents such as MEGGAPLASTICO, STARMACH, ARD and TC GLOBAL which have represented Taiwanese brands for a long time. Through their eyes we can have a better understanding about the strategy for entering Brazil market.

Brazil is the biggest country in South America. And, it is also the fifth largest country, both by geographical area and by population. In recent years, due to the inflation, the GDP is still not as well as we expected for more than fifth quarters. However, there are still many Taiwan companies have a prosperous prospect for the Brazil market, and come across the sea for grabbing a share of this market.
