IPF Bangladesh 2026 Positions Bangladesh as a Rising Hub for Plastics, Printing and Packaging Manufacturing

Dhaka, Bangladesh

As Bangladesh accelerates its manufacturing and export-driven economy, the plastics, printing and packaging sectors are becoming key pillars supporting growth in consumer goods, food packaging, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure. Against this backdrop, IPF Bangladesh 2026, the 18th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing and Packaging Industry Fair, will take place from 28–31 January 2026 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), bringing together over 400 exhibitors from 18 countries across an 18,000 sqm exhibition floor.

Organised by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., with support from the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) Project, IPF Bangladesh serves as the country’s most comprehensive platform connecting local manufacturers with global technology suppliers, material producers, and solution providers.

A Gateway to South Asia’s Fast-Growing Manufacturing Market

With two decades of development, IPF Bangladesh has become the industry’s key annual meeting point, reflecting the transformation of Bangladesh from a labor-driven manufacturing base to a technology-enabled production hub. Despite the temporary pause during the COVID-19 period, the plastics, packaging and printing industries have continued to expand, driven by rising domestic consumption, export demand, and increasing investment in automation and sustainability.

Long-term participation by global suppliers highlights strong market confidence. Companies such as Zhejiang Golden Eagle in injection moulding, Kung Hsing, Shanghai Jurry, Techno, Guangdong Blesson and Chyi Yang in pipe extrusion and blow moulding, and Worldly, Long New and HCI in laminating and slitting solutions return to IPF Bangladesh year after year to engage with buyers seeking productivity upgrades and higher-value manufacturing.

At the same time, suppliers such as Phon Tech and Union J. Plus demonstrate how environmentally friendly materials and recycling solutions are becoming increasingly central to the Bangladesh market, reflecting growing regulatory and customer demand for sustainable packaging.
