GENOX: A Comprehensive Guide to Recycling Agricultural Film: Technology & Process

The recycled film can be used for re-sales, granulation, injection molding, and film blowing, turning waste materials into recyclable raw materials. The film recycling line is easy to operate, featuring high efficiency and low energy consumption. In this article, we introduce a case that Genox customize the optimal solution for users with  capacity of 1T/h according to their needs.

 

 

Incoming Material: Woven bags/household film waste, the main impurity in woven bags/household film waste are label paper, as well as a very small amount of sediment, with a total impurity content of less than 5%, floating materials>90%, manually fed; agricultural film, the main impurities in the film are sediment and a small amount of label paper. The total impurity content does not exceed 60%, and the total amount of submerged material is less than 30%. Forklifts are used for scattered feeding.

Technical Indicator
1. Power consumption of agricultural film recycling line: installed power: 589kW, operating power: 442kW.
2. Water consumption of agricultural film recycling line: The water consumption of the entire line is ≤ 0.5m³/h (only fresh water, excluding circulating water consumption).
3. Gas consumption of agricultural film recycling line: The overall gas consumption of the line is 12-16m³/min, and the air pressure is 0.6-0.8Mpa (diaphragm pump).

 

 

Pretreatment Unit: The material is sent by metal conveyor to the YS series Pre-shredder for shredding , and then to the pre-washing machine for first washing. Stones can be removed at this process. Next, the material will be sent to the fine shredding unit.

Fine Shredding Unit: After pre-shredding, the material is conveyed to single shaft shredder for fine shredding. The material is finely shredded to around 0-100mm pieces and then sent to the washing unit.

 

 

Sink-float Tank Washing Unit: The shredded material enters the sink-float tank. To ensure uniform flow of the material, the sink-float tank is controlled by the frequency convertor of a feeding drum. Floating materials with a density less than 1T/m³ are washed by friction washer. Surface attachments of the material can be washed by mutual friction. After that, the materials will be sent to sink-float tank and friction washer again to remove the sand. Sediment with a density greater than 1T/m³ is discharged and collected through a scraper.

 

 

Squeezing Unit: The washed material is spiral fed into the squeezer for squeezing. The moisture content of the processed material decreases to below 6%. And then it is sent to the granulator for shredding to smaller pieces of less than 70mm. Last, the finished product will be sent to the storage bin by fan.

Sewage Treatment Unit (optional): Excavate water tanks around the production line. The sewage from the second water tank is simply filtered and pumped to the first water tank for supply. The sewage from the first water tank is simply filtered and pumped to the front-end pre-treatment unit for supply. The sewage generated by the pre-treatment unit is filtered and sent to the reaction tank, sedimentation tank, and air flotation tank for dosing and sedimentation. After sedimentation, it is sent to the filter press through a sludge tank for pressure filtration. The supernatant pump recycling system will process water treatment circulation.

Automatic controlling Unit: PLC automatic control, intelligently controlling and integrating each machine on the entire line, matching the capacity of each stage, and maximizing the use of installed power to reduce operational errors caused by human control.

Discharge Quality: Moisture content ≤ 6%; Impurity content: < 2%
