Nylon 12 / Transparent Nylon

Nylon 12 is a nylon polymer made from laurolactam monomers containing 12 carbon atoms, hence the name PA12. PA12 has chemical resistance, excellent wear resistance and stability, as well as very high toughness and impact resistance. It is also a good electrical insulator whose insulation is not affected by moisture. Typical PA12 applications include automotive, solar energy, offshore natural gas and oil-well engineering and pipeline construction, electrical and electronics, and leisure and sports.
