JANDI’S - Biodegradable JIT Series


Green manufacturing and the high rate of pollution caused by the plastic film are the major concerns about the protection of the environment. In the Plastic Machinery Manufacturer, since 2013, JANDI’S presented a patent which proved to be capable of creating a green design machine that didn’t leave any plastic waste during the process. This patent is where their specialty lays down with the JIT Series for T-Shirt bag making machines.

The JIT Series uses Biodegradable Material, HDPE Resin, and Filler (Caco3) materials. When using JIT, to produce T-shirt bags, the 12-18% die-cut is reused online, this save partial the cost and difficulty in using biodegradable material.

It reduces the time to handle the work between each process when reusing the die-cut on line during the production, has no additional costs for collecting, sorting, storage, handling in the recycling of the die-cut and to re-mix the recycled pellets with the raw materials.

If we compare the traditional general steps with the one that is used on JIT we can see it saves up to 25% on power consumption for the whole production and recycling process on the T-Shirt Bag production.

Furthermore, one of the main concerns about using Biodegradable material is the high cost that it comes with.
